hundred days – day 90

Go look at Julia’s work over here and wish her a happy birthday here. One of the shining stars of the UK comics scene.
And look at that. Only ten days left.
hundred days – day 89

Ah, the pleasures of a night off…
So yeah, totally missed the boat on District 9 but thought it was pretty impressive. All big blockbuster films would do well to learn from it.
hundred days – day 88

(I completely understand why people would want to live outside of London… allow me one night of over-zealous, slightly drunken love for the city…)
hundred days – day 87

I do adore life drawing and the rare moments tonight when I completely zoned out, or rather, in - where my mind was concentrating on nothing else but drawing – were joyful. Two hours of non-stop sketching. Bliss. The results aren’t great, but it takes a bit of time to get back into so hopefully I’ll see an improvement soon.
If you’re curious, here are a couple of ten minute poses and a fifteen minute pose. Like I say – I’m a little out of practice…

hundred days – day 86

I’ve upgraded to a larger moleskine to carry around which has presented new problems as all my pens seem to smudge with the slightest touch. Could take a bit of time to get used to. Still, nice to have a bit more room to play with again.
Watch a bit of Isy Suttie here.

hundred days – day 84

Just a quick one today I’m afraid.
Really am feeling constricted by the moleskine so will most probably be getting a new sketchbook tomorrow.
Hope you’re all enjoying the nice weather!
hundred days – day 83

There’s an interview with me discussing Solipsistic Pop over at the Avoid The Future blog. I ramble on a bit but there’s a lot of things touched upon that haven’t been mentioned elsewhere. Also – I discuss some more plans for Solipsistic Pop 3. Worth a look.
Plus, I went and made another Spotify playlist. Have a listen. It has lots of shouting.
