zomedy

What are you up to on Halloween? … Oh cool, that sounds like fun! … Me? Oh, no plans as yet but I do know where I’ll be the night before…

Zomedy is a comedy night at the Leicester Square Theatre featuring loads of great comics doing sets about the brain-chewing undead horror mainstays with a creepy immersive narrative playing out throughout the evening. I’ve heard some of the plans for the night and it all sounds pretty awesome.

I was asked to design and illustrate a poster for the event which is now online so I thought I’d share it here.

Had a lot of fun with this. Particularly the zombie versions of the comedians on the side. And when is drawing zombies not fun?

Also, while I’m here – I was commissioned by The Stylist to draw a bingo card of Downton Abbey clich├ęs and tropes for the new series. Not able to post it here on the blog right now but you can go straight to their website to see it if you’d like!

Oh, and just one more thing. The wonderful Helen Arney is now taking her critically acclaimed, award-winning Edinburgh show – Voice of an Angle – to the Soho Theatre here in London. It has animations and illustrations by me in it and is well worth going to see if you like maths and comedy and good things. Tickets here. Some of my contributions here.

Right. That’s enough of that for now. Some sketch commission results to come soon!
