thank you so much for doing this, your comic hit the nail on the head about what i’ve been going through (even the summer in the hospital). i show it to friends and family and they understand just a little bit more how much of an affect it has on me and my daily life. i hope you stay healthy.

Hi Tom,

I can relate as I was diagnosed when I was 11, that was 15 years ago. I loved the comic that you did, good stuff. I have had surgery twice and I have been able to be get off all my medication and now just use natural methods to keep me well.

Great work! I have Crohn for 19 years now, had 2 operations, but to some of my friends and relatives i steel need to explain: “why i can’t work, why i have to stay home, why i can’t eat this”… I whill mail you comic to them! :D

Wow! this really puts crohns into perspective for me, so thanks =] I’ve had Crohn’s for over a year now and ive never seen anything like this. It really explains life with crohn’s well and although i don’t have to run into public toilets when i’m out (i’ve been very lucky about that) i know the feeling of wondering what you’re missing out on and stuff. Being a teenager with Crohn’s it’s been complicated and embarrassing and this really explains that =] really well done with this! =D Oh and i also love the colour scheme in this, when you feel ill life just seems to look like that sometimes really, so yeah, amazing comic! =D

I was really touched and amused by this comic. I’ve been struggling with Crohn’s since last January. I’ve already had 2 surgeries, with one more to come. I have an ileostomy, though (thank God) only temporarily. I’ve been doing a lot of writing about Crohn’s and thinking about creating a blog out of it. This is amazing inspiration–I’m so touched by your clever and insightful comics. Thank you.

I love this comic. It was a big support for me to see this although I had to cry. Because the whole disease is very hard and sad sometimes… but things like this comic give me strength.
