private view this thursday (7th June)

Some of my original artwork for the latest issue of How to Date a Girl in 10 Days will on display in this week long exhibition at the Vegas Gallery:

The private view (with the obligatory free alcohol, and a DJ set from Nik Void) is this Thursday (7th June) and starts at 6pm. The gallery can be found here.

There will be some artwork from the comic previously unseen in the context of a gallery, and there will of course be five other artists (Frank Pudney, Jhinuk Sarkar, Simon Prescott, Ricky Butler and Gary Collyer) – whose work is more accomplished and imaginative than mine – exhibiting and making me feel small.

The exhibition lasts a week, and there will be copies of the latest How to Date for those of you who have been unable to pick up a copy. Hope to see some of you there.

review – how to date a girl/art school scum (comics waiting room)

Posted in news, press by tom humberstone on June 3rd, 2007

The Comics Waiting Room reviewed Issues 1 and 2 of How to date a Girl in 10 Days and Art School Scum here.

“A charming bit of navel-gazing”

There’s also a notable mention of my work at Poopsheet here.
