UK web & mini comix thing 2007

The second issue of How to Date a Girl in 10 Days is at the printers and will be available this Saturday at the UK Web and Mini Comix Thing 2007. The first 50 issues come with special screen-printed envelopes, so get there early this year if you’d like one of those. There’ll be a huge number of other small press comic creators there (all of whom probably produce far more interesting work than my indulgent, amateur rubbish) and it always tends to be quite a fun day so come say hi and help feed and clothe me (…by buying my comics, not by actually helping me get dressed or eat – I’m not that useless… oh, who am I kidding?…).

The third - and concluding chapter - of How to Date a Girl… will be published towards the end of the year with parts of it serialised on this here website. But I’ll be taking a short break from the comic over the next couple of months so that I can focus on a few short stories I’ve been mulling over while trapped in my room drawing one of my bizarre facial expressions after another.

The UK Web & Mini Comix Thing starts at around 9am and finishes sometime around 5pm (I think…). It’s held at Queen Mary University in Mile End and there are usually big, obnoxious signs everywhere leading you to the event. For more info, follow the link below:

Hope to see some of you there.

Before I go and stare vacantly at my drawingboard for a few hours, I’d just like to offer a big, warm, uncharacteristically friendly hug to everyone who came and showed some support last week at my exhibition and signing. Thank you for making both events a success.
