private view (thursday 8th march)

I have a private view at Flaxon Ptootch gallery this Thursday (March 8th). I’ll have prints and original artwork on show, including some inked pages from the new issue of How to date a Girl in 10 Days. There’ll also be badges, t-shirts, and comics for sale…
Great music on the night from Knives, Left With Pictures, Beacons, Louise Golbey and Nik Void on the decks. Should hopefully have some animations and visuals during the performances too.
It’s free to get in and there’ll be a limited amount of free alcohol too.
As soon as the bands start, the lights will dim and it’ll be tough to see the artwork, so if you plan to have a look, it’s worth getting there as early as possible (opens at 8pm).

Three days later (March 11th), I’ll be doing a signing at Orbital Comics alongside fellow small-press creators Tom Brass, Lindsay Pollack and Chris Getliffe. The signing only lasts for two hours (3pm - 5pm) but the shop will stay open should the demand be there (I just laughed out loud typing the last sentence). I doubt it’ll be very busy but I’m looking forward to playing music through the shop and forcing my poor musical taste upon the unsuspecting public. Come along and demand a sketch or two. It’ll be fun… or possibly soul-destroying.
In other news, I have just finished issue 2 of How to Date a Girl. Yes. Be excited. Going to print at the end of the week…
Here’s the last page being inked…
